Paediatric Speech Pathologist
Rebecca joined the Splash team after relocating to Melbourne from Sydney. Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Arts/Science with Honours in Psychology and a Master of Speech Pathology. She is an enthusiastic speech pathologist who loves learning about each child’s interests and including them in her therapy sessions. Rebecca enjoys all areas of speech pathology but has special interests in supporting early language development, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and feeding/mealtimes. She enjoys working with children of all ages, and particularly enjoys the 0 – 4 age group.
Rebecca has completed additional professional development training in language development, literacy and mealtimes. She is trained in Hanen “More Than Words”, Meaningful Speech Gestalt Language Processors and Get Permission Approach to Feeding. Rebecca has also been involved in exciting professional projects including working in a regional school in the Northern Territory on a six-week secondment with Splash.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys exploring Melbourne’s food scene, travelling and sewing clothes.
