Paediatric Speech Pathologist
Julie graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Speech Pathology. Prior to joining the Splash team Julie worked as a Speech Pathologist at a specialist school where she gained experience working with children with a range of developmental needs. Julie has an interest in working with children with complex communication needs and has completed additional training to specialise in prescribing and implementing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
Julie has also completed professional development in literacy intervention and is trained in the Sounds-Write literacy program. Her experience in the education setting has given her extended knowledge into supporting communication needs both in the classroom as well as at home and in the community.
Outside of work Julie enjoys exploring the many delicious restaurants around Melbourne.
