Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Harika graduated from Latrobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Occupational Therapy. Harika began her career in the public mental health sector at Eastern Health Infant Child and Youth Mental Health Service (ICYMHS), where she worked with children aged 0-12 years.
Harika currently splits her time between her role at Splash and her position at the Alfred ICYMHS, where she provides services to adolescents and young adults aged 12-25 years. In both roles, Harika has excelled as both a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and a Mental Health Practitioner. Her work involves delivering comprehensive assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, and their families. Harika is particularly skilled in providing family-centered, evidence-based care, to those with a history of trauma or neurodivergency. Her approach is characterised by creativity and a commitment to tailoring each session to the unique needs of the child, ensuring a fun and engaging therapeutic experience.
Outside of her professional life, Harika enjoys spending time in the outdoors and is an avid traveller.
