Lisa Clark
Practice Director

Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

As the practice founder and owner, Lisa is passionate about developing a high quality allied health practice, which services the local communities around Melbourne.
Lisa's previous work experiences in the corporate sector in occupational rehabilitation, OH&S, training and service development provides a base for ensuring the quality of service for the practice. 

Lisa holds a Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy and her experience in paediatrics began at Sunshine Hospital (Western Health) in 2006. Her role involved assessing and treating children with global developmental delays, autism, developmental coordination disorders and handwriting difficulties. Lisa has also worked in various paediatric private practice settings, as well as with a range of schools around Melbourne to develop the allied health service within the school curriculum.

Lisa Vale
Clinical Services Manager

Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

With an undergraduate Bachelor of Applied Science and an Advanced Masters in Occupational Therapy, Lisa has worked in paediatric occupational therapy for 28 years.
During her career, Lisa has worked across a wide range of settings, including private practice, early childhood intervention and hospitals.

Lisa is an active member of Occupational Therapy Australia, the professional body representing OT's, and is currently a representative on the Victorian Workforce Professional Issues Committee and the co-chair of the National Paediatric Taskforce.

As her career has developed, Lisa’s roles have involved leadership and management of teams in early intervention and healthcare settings. In her role as Clinical Services Manager at Splash Paediatric Therapy, Lisa provides staff supervision, professional development and management support.

Lisa is a mum of 4 children, enjoys keeping fit, exercising with the family dog and reading the weekend papers!


Rebecca Paterson
Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Rebecca has worked as an Occupational Therapist for over 19 years, with 8 years experience in paediatrics. With a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy, Rebecca has worked in private practice, community health, early intervention, child mental health and provided school-based therapy. Rebecca has an interest in working with school-aged children who have sensory processing disorders and dyspraxia, as well as pre-school children with ASD, helping them to extend their play and social skills.

Rebecca brings a great understanding of how a child’s family plays a role in therapy, and works closely with both the child and their parents to achieve their goals. Rebecca’s sessions are always lots of fun, with plenty of exciting and energetic activities!


Victoria Rajaratnam
Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Victoria brings to Splash nine years of experience working in the area of paediatrics.  Victoria has worked in a multi-speciality hospital in Sri Lanka where she took a hands-on role to work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Cerebral Palsy, sensory processing disorders, Dyspraxia, learning difficulties and global developmental delays.

Victoria loves being an OT and is as extremely patient and friendly when working with children and their families. Specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Victoria’s passion is moving and playing with kids in the OT gym and believes that creative movement and music are a great way help children learn.

Currently, Victoria shares her working time across Splash and the Jacana School for Autism where she works with children with a broad range of diagnoses. Victoria provides services for Splash on a Saturday, available for families who are unable to attend weekday appointments. 

Tarryn Dee
Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Tarryn holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from La Trobe University, and has over 6 years’ experience as a Paediatric OT. Tarryn has worked extensively in early intervention within the school environment – special schools, special development schools and mainstream schools, with a focus on children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Tarryn has a passion for working with children to develop their social, emotional and behaviour regulation and support, and enjoys using a variety of approaches to encourage inclusion in the school setting.

Zoe Strang
Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Zoe completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) at Latrobe University in 2008, as well as a Post Graduate Certificate Paediatric OT.  In 2016, Zoe completed her Advanced Masters of Occupational Therapy.

Zoe is an experienced clinician, who has been working in Paediatric Occupational Therapy for 8 years. As well as providing services to children and their families at Splash on Friday’s at our Essendon clinic, Zoe also works in the Chronic Pain Management clinic at the Royal Children’s Hospital 4 days per week. Zoe has previous working experience in Neonates, Orthopaedics and Autism Assessment clinic at RCH. She also worked for 2 years in London at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children where she carried out assessment and intervention for spinal and orthopaedic patients.

Zoe is passionate about providing family centred care for her clients, delivering evidence based practice which is goal directed. She has a special interest in neurodevelopment and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

On top of all her impressive work achievements, as well as her work and study commitments throughout the week, Zoe enjoys time with her friends and family along the coast and loves staying fit and healthy! 

Deanna Blankfield
Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Deanna comes to Splash with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of
Occupational Therapy at La Trobe University. Deanna has almost 9 years’
experience working with children in various roles, including working as
an integration aide in the school setting, a carer and as an Occupational
Therapist in private practice.

Throughout her roles, she worked with children with specific learning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Cooridnation Disorder (DCD) and varying degrees of fine and gross motor skill deficits. 

Deanna is one of our school based therapists, and provides a wealth of knowledge to teachers in the school setting. She is able to provide parents with support for their children by advocating for their needs at school, as well as implmenting strategies for teachers to use in the classroom.

Deanna is passionate about working with children, their families and teachers
to promote participation and engagement in everyday activities at home,
kinder and school settings. Deanna enjoys providing a creative and innovative
flair when enabling children to achieve independence in meaningful everyday
activities, and reaching their full potential.


Juliet Ryan
Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Juliet graduated with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2011 at the University of Limerick in Ireland. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Sociology and Psychology, which she completed in 2008.  

Juliet brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team, having worked in a range of Occupational Therapy settings in both adults, youth and paediatrics. She has worked in mental health, with people recovering from acquired brain injuries as well as rehabilitation settings. Juliet has also worked in health promotion with disability sport and recreation, being responsible for the management and delivery of professional education programs, as well as the roll out of leadership camps for children. 

Juliet is passionate about supporting children of all ages to achieve their Occupational Therapy goals, with a strong focus on evidence based practice and a goal based approach.

Melyssa Gardy
Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Melyssa completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice in 2012, as well as a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2010. Melyssa works at Splash full time at both our Werribee and Essendon clinics and has extensive experience working with children with physical disabilities. Prior to working with Splash, Melyssa worked at Yooralla in the school setting, providing support to children aged 4-16 years of age with developmental disabilities.

Melyssa has also worked part time in the private practice setting seeing children aged 2 and above with a range of developmental needs, including Autism and developmental delays. She has also worked in the Early Childhood Intervention setting at Noah's Ark, supporting families in the community and home environments. 

Melyssa has expertise in the use of technology to help the child’s independence, and has great skills working in a team to promote the best outcomes for your child.

Katherine Alagendran
Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Katherine has a Bachelor of Occupational Science and Therapy (Hons) from Deakin University and a Certificate III in Children’s Services. During her university studies, Kath also gained extensive experience working with children in roles as an integration and kindergarten aide in primary schools, and in out of hours school care.

Kath’s special interest is working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as she completed her honour’s research in social play and social interaction in children with ASD. She is passionate about seeing children reach their full potential in their everyday play skills and social interaction. Through creative play activities in therapy, Kath’s sessions will often include role play, dress ups and pretend play, to activate a child’s imagination, incorporating each child’s own interests and ideas into therapy.

Kath is a super enthusiastic and fun-loving therapist, and loves to continually learn more about paediatrics, and creative ways to make her sessions memorable!


Deanna Rushbrooke
Paediatric Occupational Therapist

With a Masters in Occupational Therapy, Deanna is an enthusiastic and motivated OT who has worked in paediatrics since she graduated. Deanna also worked with Splash as a student, and then progressed to joining the team in early 2017.

Deanna provides the school based service to some of our local schools in the Werribee area, as well as servicing individual families at both the Werribee and Essendon clinics. 

Bernadette O'Connor
Senior Paediatric Speech Pathologist
Clinical Supervisor

Bernadette has extensive experience in private practice, early intervention and hospital based services. She has owned Aspect Speech Pathology for 28 years prior to Aspect Speech Pathology’s merger with Splash Paediatric Therapy in early 2016. Bernadette is the current Director of Allied Health Services at the Royal Children's Hospital; however, she provides clinical supervision, clinical teaching and quality programs to the staff at Splash Paediatric Therapy in a consultancy role.

She has significant clinical expertise in working with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delay, language and speech disorders, and over recent years has focused on leading and managing multidisciplinary teams in a hospital environment. Bernadette has been involved in research and program development, focused on improving the quality and efficiency of services for children and families.

In her spare time Bernadette loves music, jogging and travel!

Rebecca Kidd
Senior Paediatric Speech Pathologist

Graduating from City University, London with a Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy, Rebecca, known as 'Becky', has been working as a Speech Pathologist for over 6 years. Becky’s career has taken her to various corners of the world, working in private practices, school-based environments and public health services in Australia (metro and rural), the UK and Cambodia.

Becky has a wealth of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, hearing impairment, dyspraxia, developmental delay and she has a special interest in supporting children with literacy problems.

Becky is an SOS (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) trained therapist with experience in conducting mealtime/feeding therapy. She is a certified practitioner in the HANEN (More than Words) program, Lidcombe program (for stuttering), PROMPT trained, as well as certified for the Secret Agent Society program.  

In her sessions, she loves to use common household games such as Pop-up Pirate and shopping lists in creative ways to help children develop skills such as grammatical structures, speech sounds, adjectives and social skills.

In her spare time, she enjoys going on a bike ride to one of Melbourne’s many cafes, and practicing the odd Aikido (martial arts) move to stay fit!

Lucy Quartermain
Paediatric Speech Pathologist

Lucy holds a Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) which she completed at Curtin University in WA. Lucy moved from Freemantle in 2016 to join the team where she was previously employed at the Freemantle Language Development Centre (FLDC) for two years.

Lucy’s role at the FLDC was implementing phonological awareness programs in the school setting, training teachers and parents, as well as working directly with children in the schools. She also worked with children on her caseload with specific language impairments, Autism Spectrum Disorders and speech sound disorders. Lucy is trained in administering the MultiLit Program which is an evidence based program to support reading in pre-school and school aged children. 

Prior to working as a Speech Pathologist, Lucy worked in the school system as an intergration aide for 3 years. She also holds an advanced diploma in Art & Design.

Lucy works with us full time in our school programs around the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, as well as at our Essendon & Werribee clinics. 

Gaby Ptasznik
Paediatric Speech Pathologist

Gaby is an experinced Speech Pathologist, who has worked in both adult and paediatric settings, giving her a broad scope of knowledge to support children and families at Splash. Gaby works at our Werribee clinic 2 days per week and is passionate about assisting children with communication and speech disorders, using fun and innovative practices. 

Gaby graduated from La Trobe University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. She acquired her initial experience in paediatrics at Autism Spectrum Victoria (Aspect) working with children with Autsim Spectrum Disorders, as well as other speech and language difficulties. Gaby has also worked with the Catholic Education Office supporting children, as well as creating an online speech therapy rescource for families. 


Jane Armstrong
Operations Manager

Jane joined Splash with over 10 years experience working in Executive Assistant, Administration, Reception and Business Manager roles, as well as holding a Certificate of Education Support. Jane has also volunteered in numerous roles in primary school settings.

Jane supports all of the therapists with the management of their children and families, however her key role is ensuring the overall running of the practice with Lisa Clark. 

Jane manages the billing and administrative procedures for Splash, so you may interact with her in regards to payment and funding related inquiries such as DSS (FaHCSIA), NDIS, Medicare or your private health fund. 

With a patient and approachable style, Jane loves teaching and assisting her own children with everyday tasks, and seeing them flourish at school and with their friendships. Outside of Splash, Jane’s kept busy with her 2 children, playing netball twice a week and barracking for the St Kilda Football Club.

Laura Petridis
Receptionist & Therapy support - Werribee

You will meet Laura at reception when visiting our Werribee clinic on Mondays. She provides administrative support to children and families, managing phone calls, queries and billing enquires. 

Laura has a love for children, having been a professional Nanny for 5 years, she enjoys meeting new and existing faces at the clinic. 

Laura holds a Bachelor of Health Science with a major in Rehabilitation and Counselling, as well as an Honours with a focus on Psychology and Public Health. She is now completing her PhD in Public Health/Health Promotion at La Trobe University. Laura supports the team with our customer satisfaction surveys which you may receive throughout the year.

Nikita Angelofsky
Practice Manager - Essendon

Nikita is the Practice Manager at our Essendon clinic, taking care of all our client needs and payment enquiries. Nikita also manages the Malvern clinic services remotley, so you may deal with her over the phone to manage any accounts or service enquiries. 

Nikita holds a Bachelor Degree in Arts and Social Science and has previous working experinces in retail management and customer service. 

Nikita is passionate about supporting our families and and enjoys interacting with our families throughout the week. 

Renae Molles
Practice Manager - Werribee

Renae works with Splash at our Werribee clininc 4 days per week, inlcuding Saturdays and oversees the administrative management of the Werribee clinic. Renae holds a Certificate III in Children's Services, and is currently completing her Diploma of Practice Management. Renae has experence in previous medical receptinoist roles and thoroughly enjoyings supporting our families at the clinic. 

Gabi-Leigh Klein
Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Gabi joined the team at Splash with a Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy and has been working in paediatrics for over 3 years. Gabi has a particular interest and specific experience in working with children with Cerebral Palsy, as well as other complex neurological conditions. Gabi also has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and developmental delays.

Gabi has previously worked at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance in NSW with her focus being to maximize participation in daily activities for infants, children and adolescents with physical disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Acquired Brain Injury, Degenerative Conditions and significant and complex needs, across home school and clinic environments. She has provided intervention in both Northern NSW and Victoria.

Gabi has previously worked as a respite carer at the Glen Eira City Council, with children ages 0-18. Working as a respite carer meant spending hours every day in people’s homes, allowing her to truly experience life with family members and children living with disability.

Gabi also loves toys! She has spent time researching motivating and engaging toys for different types of therapy, and loves working with families to use toys to help achieve therapy goals!

Rebecca Bailey
Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Rebecca as a Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability), and a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice. Since graduating, Rebecca has worked in private practice settings, specialising in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delay, motor in coordination and fussy eaters.

Rebecca’s previous experience working at Aspect provided a multidisciplinary team setting, where she worked with psychologists and speech pathologists in delivering services to clients and families. As a result, Rebecca has an excellent skill set in behavioral management with young children, and an understanding of broader mental health aspects related to raising a child with additional needs.

Rebecca is currently on maternity leave from Splash, as she had her second baby girl in January 2017! We look forward to Rebecca returning to the team shortly.
